About this role
Meta is seeking Research Scientists to join the a research team team within Meta Reality Labs,
Our team is developing advanced technology at the intersection of computer vision and generative AI. We're working on an initiative to bring photorealistic, real-time holographic communication to AR/VR glasses. Imagine seamless, lifelike presence in mixed reality, transforming how people connect across distances. Beyond Hologram, we're advancing Family of Apps (FoA) applications, including auto-translation with realistic lipsync on Instagram, enabling creators to reach global audiences authentically.
You will have the opportunity to work with a broad and highly interdisciplinary team of scientists, engineers, and cross-functional partners, with access to cutting-edge technology, important resources, and research facilities.
Responsibilities
Conduct research that extends foundation models through model fine-tuning
Work towards long-term ambitious research goals, while identifying intermediate milestones
Influence progress of relevant research communities by producing publications
Contribute research that can be applied to Meta product development
Lead and collaborate on research projects within a globally based team
