About this role

Description

Did you know that Ryan Lawn & Tree is a $100M+ professional Lawn & Landscape company? We've built one of the most respected lawn and tree care companies in the Midwest, with room to grow across five states — Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Nebraska and Iowa. We're on a mission to raise the bar for our entire industry: attracting exceptional people, treating them right, and giving them the opportunity to build a career, not just taking a job. It's work that leaves a mark on every community we touch – and on the people who do it.

Are you organized, detail-oriented, and great at keeping people on the same page? Ryan Lawn & Tree is looking for a Scheduling Coordinator for our Enhancement team to serve as the central point of coordination between customers, Sales, field crews, vendors, and management.

In this role, you'll own scheduling, customer communication, permitting, and you'll make sure our crews have what they need, when they need it. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment and like being the person who keeps everything running smoothly, this could be a great next step for you.

What You'll Do

Scheduling, Dispatch & Customer Communication

- Schedule and dispatch recurring service work, including return visits and callbacks
- Serve as a primary customer contact by phone, email, and cases for scheduling, updates, and follow-ups

Field Crew Support & Reporting

- Prepare and share daily work information so crews are set up for success
- Maintain reports on scheduled work and specialty equipment
- Partner with Marketing on monthly scheduling service journeys
- Join weekly management meetings to discuss equipment issues and scheduling changes

Procurement & Deliveries

- Order materials such as mulch, annual color, plants, stone, and seed
- Schedule and manage vendor deliveries
- Help organize tagged plant material for efficient installation

Permits & Compliance

- Manage utility location requests
- Obtain and pay for right-of-way permits
- Coordinate service drop

Sales Support & Capacity Planning

- Review sales confirmations to make sure job details, equipment needs, and notes are complete for crews
- Track and share scheduling lead times ("weeks out") with the Sales team

Requirements

- Experience in scheduling, landscape, or field service operations is preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Excellent customer service and written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM
- Proficiency in Google Workspace
- A detail-oriented, problem-solving mindset and the initiative to improve processes
- Willingness to help receive deliveries and bundle materials for morning loads
- The ability to lift to 25 pounds

We hire great people for our employee-owned company. As a member of our team, you'll become a partner in the highest-quality lawn and tree company in the Midwest.
