About this role

Apple is where you do the best work of your life. Behind every Apple product is a remarkable collaboration of engineering disciplines, where innovation, precision, and attention to detail shape experiences enjoyed by millions of people worldwide.

Imagine shaping how the next generation of Apple products is designed, understood, and continuously improved. From silicon to complete systems, the ability to observe, measure, and understand hardware behavior is fundamental to building exceptional products.

Our team works at the intersection of product architecture, electrical engineering, and intelligent metrology, partnering with design teams to develop innovative electrical architectures, embedded observability, and scalable measurement solutions. We influence product designs early, enabling deeper system insights through hardware, firmware, and software integration. Where additional capabilities are needed, we architect specialized instrumentation and measurement platforms that extend our understanding of product behavior from early development through production.

We are looking for an engineering leader who combines deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and a passion for developing exceptional teams. You will lead electrical engineers across a diverse portfolio of Apple products, advancing common architectures, AI-enabled engineering methodologies, and scalable solutions that influence how products are designed and delivered.

This is a leadership role at the forefront of hardware systems engineering, where you will drive the development of innovative electrical architectures, embedded observability capabilities, and precision metrology systems across Apple's product portfolio.

You will manage and develop a talented team of electrical engineers responsible for advancing system-level design methodologies, developing custom electrical instrumentation, and delivering scalable engineering solutions that support product development, characterization, calibration, and manufacturing.

Beyond delivering engineering solutions, you will help shape the team's technical direction, identifying opportunities to influence product architecture, establish common platforms, and leverage AI-driven technologies to accelerate engineering development and improve decision-making.

The role requires close collaboration with silicon, hardware, firmware, software, and operations teams, along with the ability to communicate complex engineering strategies and influence technical decisions across organizational boundaries.

Occasional domestic and international travel may be required based on business needs.
