What You'll Do:

As Assistant General Manager, you’ll partner with the General Manager to lead day-to-day Service Center operations and develop a strong, high-performing team. You’ll gain broader operational and financial leadership experience while preparing for a future General Manager opportunity.

- Lead daily Service Center operations across production, warehouse, shipping and receiving, inventory, and maintenance

- Coach and develop supervisors, leads, and team members while building a safe, accountable work environment

- Coordinate staffing, production schedules, and workflow to meet changing customer demand

- Champion OSHA, food safety, quality, and sanitation standards

- Monitor operational performance, inventory, equipment, labor, and costs and address performance gaps

- Partner with maintenance and other functions to resolve operational issues and minimize downtime

- Lead continuous improvement efforts to strengthen safety, quality, efficiency, and customer service

- Support budgeting, workforce planning, customer solutions, and broader site leadership responsibilities

What We Are Looking For:

We’re looking for a hands-on operations leader who is ready to take on broader responsibility, develop teams, and grow toward leading an entire Service Center.

- 3–5 years of supervisory experience in warehouse, production, manufacturing, or a similar operations environment

- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or higher preferred

- Experience coaching team members, managing performance, and driving accountability

- Working knowledge of OSHA and workplace safety requirements; food safety experience preferred

- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing operational demands

- Ability to review operational results, understand basic financial information, and identify performance or cost variances

- Strong communication, judgment, and collaboration skills

- Continuous improvement experience, including Lean or Six Sigma, is a plus

- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus
