Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced MIG/TIG Welders for projects located in the Brownsville, OR area . This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $24-32/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
- Perform MIG and/or TIG welding on various metal components and assemblies
- Fabricate, fit, assemble, and weld materials according to project specifications
- Perform shop fabrication and on-site welding and installation
- Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and welding symbols
- Measure, cut, prepare, and fit materials prior to welding
- Perform structural steel and miscellaneous metal fabrication
- Operate grinders, cutting equipment, and other fabrication machinery
- Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and workmanship
- Assist with field installations and equipment setup as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Requirements
- Pass a weld test
- Previous experience with MIG and/or TIG welding
- Experience with metal fabrication, fitting, and assembly
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings
- Familiarity with welding techniques, fabrication tools, and shop equipment
- Ability to accurately measure, cut, and fit metal components
