You will work with internal engineering and commercial teams to prepare accurate, customer-ready proposal packages for fire alarm, security, CCTV, access control, intrusion, and building automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Request for Proposals with takeoffs, bill of material creation, and pricing.
- Create pre-design drawings, shop drawings, submittal drawings, and As-Built drawings based on site surveys and client standards.
- Prepare post-sales design drawings and engineering packages.
- Review project scope, assumptions, and technical requirements to support accurate proposal development.
- Collaborate with internal and external engineering teams on high-complexity projects.
- Support internal project review processes and proposal quality checks.
- Provide technical guidance and development support to new hires and engineering team members.
How You Will Do It
- You will keep the proposal process organized, reviewing scope, assumptions, and standards early so the team can price accurately and avoid late surprises.
- You will stay close to the technical details and customer needs, removing obstacles quickly so bids, drawings, and handoffs stay practical and on time.
- You will work openly with sales, application engineers, and project teams, using candid feedback and shared problem-solving to improve every submission.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering.
- 4+ years of experience in Fire Alarm, Security, CCTV, and/or construction design activities.
- Advanced knowledge of electronic security systems such as access control, video, intrusion, fire alarm, and building automation.
- Intermediate knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple assignments and responsibilities.
- Advanced business-level English proficiency (B2+).
Nice to Have
- Revit experience.
- Experience with NFPA 70 (NEC) and NFPA 101 (Life Safety Code).
- Brand certification with Software House, Kantech, Lenel, ExacqVision, ProWatch, or similar platforms.
Why Join Us
This is an opportunity to contribute to complex security proposals, work closely with experienced engineering and commercial teams, and help deliver high-quality solutions for customers. You will build strong technical exposure across security systems while supporting work that directly impacts project success.
