Reduces manual operational work while improving platform reliability, security, engineering velocity, teammate experience, and measurable service outcomes.

1. Implements and establish short-term tactical and operational plans for EUC engineering, with significant contributions toward Platform Services objectives, service reliability, security, and teammate experience.
2. Leads the design, engineering, implementation, lifecycle management, and support enablement of enterprise endpoint platforms spanning physical devices, persistent and non-persistent virtual desktops, Windows images, endpoint configurations, browsers, productivity applications, and supporting infrastructure.
3. Manages a multi-disciplinary EUC engineering organization that includes lower-level managers, platform engineers, experienced individual contributors, and strategic service partners.
4. Oversees Windows build engineering for physical and virtual images, endpoint configuration engineering, testing automation, application packaging, hardware engineering, feature updates, driver and BIOS currency, image automation, and platform transitions.
5. Directs endpoint vulnerability remediation, security baseline control execution, encryption compliance, remediation automation, exception and deferral processes, problem management, and reporting-quality improvement in partnership with Cyber, Risk, and control functions.
6. Advances EUC platform engineering through infrastructure as code, configuration as code, CI/CD pipelines, automated task sequences, reusable automation, version-controlled repositories, code peer review, and elimination of unnecessary manual steps.
7. Balances business requirements for simplicity, stability, performance, mobility, and timely delivery with technology requirements for standardization, automation, resiliency, security, compliance, and cost efficiency.
8. Establishes and enforces engineering standards, architectural guardrails, governance, change controls, documentation, and operational readiness requirements for endpoint technologies and services.
9. Partners with architecture, cybersecurity, identity and access management, network, cloud and hosting, service management, application owners, business technology teams, vendors, and support organizations to deliver integrated EUC solutions.
10. Guides the evaluation and adoption of modern endpoint capabilities, including digital employee experience tooling, passwordless authentication, self-service services, automated software updating, modern management, and virtual desktop platform modernization.
11. Leads escalation response to complex, high-impact endpoint incidents and systemic technical problems, ensuring appropriate troubleshooting, vendor escalation, root-cause analysis, remediation, and prevention activities.
12. Defines and monitors operational and engineering measures such as service-level performance, vulnerability and security-control compliance, image delivery, validation, backlog health, change outcomes, and automation effectiveness.
13. Communicates strategy, risk, capacity, performance, and delivery status to senior technology leadership through business reviews, operating metrics, roadmaps, findings updates, and decision-ready recommendations.
14. Ensures compliance with enterprise security, risk, audit, regulatory, records, change, and technology-management requirements; leads remediation of findings and management self-identified issues within the EUC domain.
15. Performs workforce planning, capacity management, vendor and contractor oversight, financial planning, prioritization, and resource allocation to meet operational commitments and transformation goals.
16. Builds organizational capability through coaching, succession planning, performance management, role clarity, cross-training, and development of engineering, automation, risk management, and leadership skills.
