What you will have an opportunity to do:
- Job Description We are looking for a dependable and team-oriented Banquet Setup Attendant / Van Driver to join our hotel team. This position is responsible for safely transporting guests as needed while also assisting with the setup, breakdown, and maintenance of our banquet and meeting spaces. The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, comfortable working independently, and able to provide excellent service to our guests
- Monday through Thursday, 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Banquet Setup Responsibilities: Set up meeting and banquet rooms according to event specifications. Arrange tables, chairs, linens, and other equipment as needed. Assist with moving and positioning tables, chairs, and banquet equipment. Prepare meeting rooms prior to events and assist with breakdown after events. Keep banquet areas, storage areas, and equipment clean and organized. Assist the banquet team with additional tasks as needed. Respond to guest and event needs in a timely and professional manner. Work closely with the hotel team to ensure meeting and event spaces are ready for guests.
- ### Qualifications
Valid driver's license and a safe driving record. Previous hotel, banquet, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred. Ability to safely lift, carry, and move tables, chairs, and other banquet equipment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong customer service and communication skills. Dependable, punctual, and flexible. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced hotel environment.
