Summary:
The Admission Nurse Team Leader supports the Sr. Director of Intake Admissions by providing day-to-day leadership and clinical oversight to the field admissions team. This role ensures timely, accurate, and compassionate admissions that align with the philosophy, mission, and regulatory compliance standards of Calvary Hospice. The Team Leader facilitates field supervision, documentation review, education, and professional development of admission nurses to support high-quality patient and family-centered care.
Hours: 9am - 5pm
Salary: 124,800.04 - 151,30149,300.1055
Qualifications:
- Current New York State Registered Nurse License/Permit.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience in nursing which includes any combination of medical-surgical, oncological, palliative and community home health/hospice.
- At least one (1) year of community hospice or home health experience is preferred.
- Hospice experience preferred.
- NYS driver’s license preferred.
Education:
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. BSN required.
