Global Forwarding Coordinator

C.H. Robinson is looking for a Global Forwarding Coordinator in Bogotá. In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting our transportation operations and ensuring shipments move efficiently while delivering a high-quality experience to our customers and carrier partners. Your work will directly contribute to service reliability, operational excellence, and the success of our U.S. transportation network.

You will coordinate transportation activities, communicate with drivers, carriers, shippers, and internal stakeholders in English, and ensure shipment information and documentation are accurate and completed on time. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities of this position consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

- Understand the processes involved in international shipping from purchase order to delivery of cargo at ultimate destination
- Assist GF personnel and other third parties with inquiries and problem resolution
- Generate, file, and maintain up-to-date and accurate customer records, reports, shipment documentation, etc.
- Provide tracking and tracing services for customer shipments
- Provide support and backup for the delivery and turnovers
- Perform load-audits
- Provide reporting and documentation collection support to global forwarding personnel and ensure customer data integrity
- Ensure adherence to customer SOPs, government agency regulations, and C.H. Robinson company standards
- Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

- High school diploma or GED
- Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal)

Preferred:

- Minimum 2 years of previous working experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven office environment
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills and phone etiquette
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy
