About LOTUS and OASIS

LOTUS is a Japanese-American restaurant and cocktail lounge where sushi, signature cocktails and a curated listening program shape the evening. Its six-seat Omakase bar offers a coursed tasting dinner by reservation, with a scripted service ritual, brief chef introductions and selected musical features.

OASIS is a Moroccan-inspired poolside destination for Sunday brunch, private cabanas and cocktails. Casablanca Hour bridges daytime service and the Sunset Lounge, where DJs and live percussion carry the evening.

About the Role

We are seeking an attentive, welcoming Host who makes members and guests feel expected from the moment they arrive. You will manage reservations, coordinate seating and guide guests to their table, Omakase sitting or cabana, ensuring a personal handover to the service team.

Working closely with the House Manager and OASIS Lead, you will keep arrivals organized across LOTUS evenings and OASIS Sundays. As part of the launch team, you will help establish a warm, consistent welcome while developing your reservations and guest relations skills.

Pay rate: $20 - $24, + gratuity

Role type: non-exempt

Key Responsibilities

Welcome members and guests warmly, confirm reservations and guide them to their table, Omakase sitting or cabana.

Manage reservations and maintain accurate arrival and seating information.

Coordinate seating with the service team to support an organized flow of arrivals.

Oversee Omakase check-in and communicate guest arrivals to the appropriate team.

Make each handover to the service team personal, communicating relevant reservation details and guest requests.

Support the transition from dinner arrivals to late lounge service when assigned.

Coordinate Sunday brunch, cabana, sunset or evening arrivals with the OASIS Lead.

Participate in required briefings and training, and complete setup, closing and shift handover duties.

What You Bring

An attentive, welcoming manner and a genuine interest in guest service.

Clear communication and strong organizational skills.

Attention to detail when managing reservations, arrival information and guest requests.

The ability to remain composed while coordinating multiple arrivals and seating needs.

A collaborative approach and willingness to develop your reservations and guest relations skills.

Availability for Thursday–Sunday service, including evening shifts, rotating late coverage and Sundays at OASIS.

Your Workweek

The proposed launch schedule is four working days, Thursday through Sunday, totaling approximately 24–30 hours per week, with Monday through Wednesday off.

Thursday through Saturday will cover LOTUS dinner arrivals, Omakase check-in and, when assigned, the transition to late lounge service. Sunday will cover either brunch and cabana arrivals or sunset and evening arrivals, with a handover between shifts.

Opening and late coverage will rotate within the host team. The House Manager will coordinate daily start and finish times, breaks and Sunday coverage with the OASIS Lead. All required briefings, setup, training, closing and handover duties are included in working hours.

Due to scheduling requirements, operating hours, and compliance considerations, our roles require candidates to be 18 years of age or older.
