Join the Operations Engineering team as a Sr Engineer I-Product/Test supporting complex electronic assembly validation and verification, including test architecture, qualification, troubleshooting, production scaling, yield metrics, quality initiatives, and lifecycle challenges. This role is best suited for candidates with 5–7.5 years of relevant experience in electronics product engineering, test engineering, automated test, characterization, validation, qualification, yield, or a closely related area.

In this role, you will integrate complex hands-on electronics testing with cross-functional technical decisions, partnering with design, manufacturing, quality, automated testing, reliability and failure analysis. You will troubleshoot production-level testing, identify product issues and root causes, balance customer requirements with technical feasibility, and develop robust test plans and procedures. As part of the Operations Engineering team, you will prioritize product quality and manufacturing readiness with specific goals regarding yield, reliability, and lifecycle performance.

Candidates must be U.S. citizens with no dual citizenship and be eligible to access information and products regulated under EAR and ITAR regulations.

Responsibilities:

- Drive the development and implementation of product test strategies, test programs, hardware solutions, characterization plans, qualification activities, and production test methods for new and existing products.
- Balance technical, quality, reliability, cost, schedule, supply chain, manufacturing, and customer requirements to deliver effective test solutions and product releases.
- Investigate and resolve complex product and test-related issues, using data-driven root cause analysis to improve yield, quality, reliability, and performance.
- Utilize software tools including LabVIEW, Python, and Django to design, debug, and troubleshoot systems and hardware level tests protocols.
- Assess technical data, risks, assumptions, and tradeoffs to make sound engineering decisions and provide clear recommendations to project and product stakeholders.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align on technical approaches, resolve issues, and achieve product readiness and release objectives.
- Review and approve technical deliverables, including test plans, specifications, characterization and qualification results, engineering changes, deviations, and product release documentation.
- Serve as a subject matter expert by providing technical mentorship, guidance, and support to technicians, engineers, and project teams across the organization.

- Identify, qualify, and implement equipment needed to meet measurement, functional testing, monitoring, recording, calibration, and environmental requirements.

- Act as Level 2 technical support to directly assist Test Technicians.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field with 5–7.5 years of relevant background in electronics and test engineering, automated test equipment, test hardware or programs, production test, statistical analysis, or similar experience. Equivalent advanced technical background in frequency and timing systems may be considered in lieu of academic certifications.

Qualified candidates should demonstrate strong analytical and engineering judgment, structured debugging and root-cause analysis skills, proficiency in statistical and data analysis, and the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly. Candidates must be effective cross-functional collaborators with a strong focus on quality and the ability to work with complex electronics products involving test, validation, yield, reliability, manufacturing integration, and customer data.

Successful candidates are expected to demonstrate:

- Employment stability, reliability, and sustained accountability in prior roles.
- Effective teamwork and cross-functional collaboration.
- Integrity and accuracy in representing qualifications, experience, and credentials.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience testing and debugging GPS, PNT, or communication systems, with an understanding of synchronization, clock distribution, timing accuracy, signal integrity, and system-level performance requirements.

- Experience thoroughly troubleshooting analog, digital, and mixed-signal PCBAs down to the component level.

- Experience with statistical analysis, yield improvement, guard-banding, correlation, reliability, failure analysis, scripting, automation, or manufacturing data systems.
- Experience supporting new product introduction (NPI), production ramp, release, sustaining, cost reduction, or customer-quality investigations.
