About this role
This role provides day-to-day leadership to warehouse personnel, coordinates receiving, storage, material handling and issuance activities, maintains inventory accuracy, and works closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Planning, Logistics, Procurement and other supporting functions.
The position is expected to drive operational discipline, resolve warehouse issues, monitor performance, and support continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse.
Minimum Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering or a related field.
- Relevant experience in warehouse operations, logistics, inventory control, materials management or manufacturing operations .
- Previous experience supervising or coordinating warehouse personnel is preferred.
- Experience in semiconductor, electronics or high-volume manufacturing operations would be an advantage.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory-control principles .
- Knowledge of receiving, storage, material handling and inventory transactions.
- Good people supervision and team coordination skills.
- Ability to prioritize manpower and operational activities according to business requirements.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other standard Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with ERP/WMS systems is preferred.
- Ability to analyze warehouse data and operational issues.
- Good understanding of 5S and continuous improvement principles .
