Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (occasional Saturdays, 8:00 AM-12:00 PM

What You'll Do
As a Back Office Medical Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting providers and ensuring patients receive exceptional care throughout their visit.
How will you make an impact & Requirements
Responsibilities include:
- Room and prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, medications, and allergies
- Perform in-office diagnostic testing and treatments, including: EKGs Spirometry Peak flow testing Bone density testing Nebulizer treatments
- Assist Physicians, Physician Assistants, and Nurse Practitioners during exams and procedures
- Prepare and administer injections and immunizations as ordered
- Monitor patients following injections and vaccinations
- Communicate test results and follow-up instructions to patients
- Process prescription refill requests according to provider protocols
- Handle patient calls, pharmacy requests, referrals, insurance inquiries, and coordination of care
- Clean and sanitize exam rooms and sterilize instruments according to established protocols
What We're Looking For
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of Medical Assistant experience
- Professional, courteous, and dependable work ethic
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy clinical environment
- Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
- Passion for delivering outstanding patient care
- Ability to commute to Lakeway, TX
Preferred:
- Experience with Athena EMR
- Primary care or family medicine experience
