RN / Surgical Services- Full Time

The Surgical Services RN provides high-quality nursing care in the Surgery department. This role requires strong clinical skills, compassion, and a team-first mindset to support safe, patient-centered care in a rural setting.

Job Overview:

Role Focus: Managing pre-operative, same-day surgery, and post-operative recovery

Key Duties:

- Assessing and monitoring patients before and after surgical procedures.

- Coordinating nursing assignments and team schedules.

- Educating patients and families on post-op care plans.

- Collaborating with surgeons and multidisciplinary care teams.

- Cardiac Stress Test

- Outpatient cardiac monitoring

- Chest Pain accreditation coordinator

- Assisting with Quality metrics as needed

- Other duties as assigned

Required: Licenses / Certifications
-Active Registered Nurse (RN) in Illinois / BLS/ ACLS

Compensation:

Hourly range $33.50hr -$50.25hr

Bonus:

Potential for a performance-based bonus, subject to eligibility criteria and achievement of defined metrics. Details regarding bonus eligibility and performance goals will be provided during the interview process or upon hire.

Incentives:

Eligible for evening/night, weekend shift incentive based on company policies and applicable job codes. Additional details will be provided during the interview process.
