About this role
The Opportunity
Adobe’s Business Ethics & Integrity organization is continuing to evolve our data-driven, risk-based approach to compliance - one that proactively identifies emerging risks, continuously evaluates the effectiveness of our controls, and uses data and technology to generate meaningful insights and drive continuous improvement.
We’re looking for a Compliance Risk & Assurance professional to help continue maturing these capabilities across Adobe’s global Business Ethics & Integrity program. This role will connect compliance risk assessments, monitoring, targeted compliance reviews, and analytics to help us understand where our most significant risks are, whether our compliance processes and controls are effectively mitigating those risks, and where we should focus our efforts and resources.
You’ll work across Business Ethics & Integrity and partner closely with Legal, Internal Audit, and other teams to develop scalable, risk-based assurance and monitoring capabilities. You’ll also support compliance due diligence in M&A and explore opportunities to leverage data, analytics, automation, and emerging technologies - including AI - to strengthen risk identification, improve efficiency, and generate actionable insights.
This is an opportunity to help shape how a global technology company identifies and manages compliance risks, evaluates program effectiveness, and drives continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute compliance risk assessments to identify, evaluate, and prioritize ethics and compliance risks across Adobe’s businesses, geographies, and operations.
- Design and implement risk-based compliance monitoring and assurance activities to evaluate the effectiveness of compliance processes and controls, identify gaps, and drive remediation and continuous improvement.
- Build and enhance continuous monitoring capabilities, leveraging compliance and business data to identify emerging risks, trends, anomalies, and potential control weaknesses across key compliance risk areas.
- Develop meaningful risk indicators, dashboards, metrics, and reporting to provide leadership with actionable insights into compliance risks, program effectiveness, and opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with Legal, Internal Audit, and business stakeholders to evaluate findings, identify root causes, develop practical remediation plans, and strengthen compliance processes and controls.
- Support M&A compliance risk assessments and due diligence, including identifying potential ethics and compliance risks and supporting post-close integration and remediation.
- Leverage analytics, automation, AI, and emerging technologies to improve the efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness of compliance risk assessment, monitoring, and assurance activities.
- Support broader Ethics & Compliance Office initiatives and priorities, including enhancements to compliance policies, processes, governance, and other program activities as needed.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 8+ years of relevant experience in corporate ethics and compliance, compliance risk management, or compliance monitoring and assurance, ideally within a global company or similarly complex environment. Experience in internal audit or risk advisory may be relevant when accompanied by substantive corporate ethics and compliance experience.
- Strong understanding of corporate ethics and compliance programs, including key compliance risk areas, regulatory expectations, risk assessment methodologies, compliance monitoring, and approaches to evaluating program effectiveness.
- Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, or executing compliance risk assessments, risk-based compliance monitoring, targeted compliance reviews, or compliance assurance activities.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to use compliance and business data to identify emerging risks, evaluate trends and anomalies, assess program effectiveness, and inform risk-based decisions.
- Experience developing or leveraging metrics, dashboards, key risk indicators, and management reporting to support risk-based decision-making.
- Familiarity with data analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar technologies, is preferred. Experience applying automation or AI-enabled capabilities to compliance monitoring and assurance is a plus.
- Knowledge of core corporate compliance risk areas, including anti-corruption, conflicts of interest, gifts and hospitality, and third-party risk.
- Experience with M&A compliance due diligence, integration, or risk assessment is preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, professional skepticism, and sound judgment, with the ability to connect data, compliance observations, and business context to broader compliance risks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex findings into clear, practical recommendations for senior leaders.
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across Legal, Internal Audit, Finance, Security, technical teams, and business functions.
- Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and help build new capabilities in an evolving environment.
