You will work alongside senior foresters, ecologists, GIS specialists, and project managers on a broad range of forestry, land management, and cumulative impact and environmental assessment projects. You will report to the Practice Lead, Forestry & Inventory and grow into more senior technical roles as you build your experience.

• Conduct spatial analysis using ESRI/open-source products (PostgreSQL/POSTGIS)
• Undertake data and statistical analysis (R, Python, Excel), growth and yield modelling (FPS, FVS, TASS, TIPSY, VDYP, GYPSY, MGM), and carbon modelling (GCBM, CBM)
• Interpret and apply land use, forest inventory, and policy data
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on sustainable forest management, carbon analysis, and Indigenous-led stewardship and planning projects
• Prepare high-quality technical reports and presentations for clients, government agencies, and stakeholders
• Support senior staff in preparing bids, proposals, and project deliverables to agreed timescales and budgets
• Maintain accurate project records, field notes, and document management in line with company QA procedures
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the development of analytical tools and workflows
