About this role

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

Minimum qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

- Industry certifications such as GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional), CISSP, CISM, or PMP.

- 5 years of experience in technical program management.

- Experience with global industrial cybersecurity standards (e.g., IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82).

- Experience in data center infrastructure (BMS, PMS, cooling, or power distribution systems).

Preferred qualifications:

- Master's degree in a technical field.

- Experience navigating global matrixed organizations and coordinating engineering programs remotely across EMEA.

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Provide operational ownership of information security programs for industrial equipment and facility assets within the EMEA regional scope.

- Provide partnership and relationship management with cross-functional teams to define and measure security postures and implement improvements.

- Develop and drive program implementation, long-term strategy, cross-site execution, and resource prioritization for information security efforts across Google’s fleet of data centers.

- Leverage control system insights across the DC Central Ops team, DC Software team, and site-specific stakeholders.

- Lead and continually optimize strategic and complex operational technology security programs to drive consistency, efficiency, and economies of scale across multiple teams.
