Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Full-Time Janitor to join our team. The Janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment at assigned facilities while following company policies, safety procedures, and customer-specific requirements and customer expectations.

The ideal candidate must demonstrate professionalism, accountability, dependability, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to excellent customer service. Employees are expected to work independently or collaboratively, follow established cleaning procedures, properly handle equipment and cleaning chemicals, and comply with company policies, applicable workplace safety regulations, and customer-specific requirements.

Responsibilities

- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting of all common areas, waiting rooms, hallways, and restrooms.

- Disinfect and sanitize high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, handrails, light switches, and elevator buttons.

- Empty and properly dispose of trash and waste according to established guidelines.

- Refill dispensers for soap, paper towels, and toilet paper as needed.

- Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify the supervisor when supplies need to be reordered.

- Assist with setting up and cleaning meeting rooms and event spaces as necessary.

- Collaborate with maintenance and facility teams to address any issues related to building cleanliness and safety.

- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.

- Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.

- Other tasks and projects requested by the customer and/or the Advanced, Inc team.

Qualifications

Qualifications & More

- Previous janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or commercial cleaning experience preferred.

- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation procedures, and the proper operation of cleaning equipment preferred.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain established cleanliness and quality standards.

- Understanding prevention practices and the importance of maintaining a clean and sanitary environment.

- Good communication skills and ability to work independently or effectively as part of a team.

- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, safety guidelines, and customer-specific procedures.

- Ability to perform essential job functions involving lifting, bending, reaching, walking, and standing for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.

- Flexibility to work assigned shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.

- Ability to maintain professional conduct, reliable attendance, and compliance with company and customer policies.
