We're building Algoreus , an enterprise AI platform that combines artificial intelligence, intelligent workflows, data integration, and automation to solve real-world business challenges.

We're looking for a motivated and technically capable Graduate Full Stack Developer to join our Canberra team and contribute to the development of modern, scalable AI-powered applications.

This is an opportunity for an ambitious graduate to gain hands-on experience across frontend development, backend engineering, databases, cloud technologies, and enterprise AI, working alongside experienced developers and technical leaders.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain modern web applications using React and JavaScript/TypeScript.

- Contribute to mobile application development using React Native.

- Assist in building backend services and APIs using Python.

- Work with relational databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.

- Support data integration, transformation, and ETL processes.

- Assist in developing and integrating REST APIs and enterprise systems.

- Write clean, maintainable, well-structured, and tested code.

- Participate in debugging, testing, code reviews, and technical problem-solving.

- Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, designers, and AI specialists.

- Contribute to the development of AI-powered features, automation workflows, and enterprise applications.

- Learn and apply modern software development practices, tools, and technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Recently completed or currently completing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline .

- Foundational knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript and modern frontend development.

- Familiarity with React through university coursework, internships, or personal projects.

- Understanding of Python programming and backend development concepts.

- Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL.

- Understanding of REST APIs and client-server architecture.

- Familiarity with Git and version control.

- Knowledge of object-oriented programming, data structures, and software development principles.

- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

- Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced technical environment.

Previous commercial experience is not required. We welcome applications from graduates who can demonstrate strong technical ability through university projects, internships, GitHub repositories, or independently developed applications.

Highly Regarded

- Experience developing applications using React Native.

- Exposure to Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.

- Understanding of ETL pipelines, data processing, or systems integration.

- Familiarity with AI, machine learning, or Large Language Models (LLMs).

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.

- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience building full-stack applications independently or as part of university projects.

- Participation in hackathons, coding competitions, or open-source projects.

- Exposure to enterprise software, ERP systems, or workflow automation.
