The Role

Due to exciting growth, SRG Global Mining Services is looking for skilled Shotfirers to join our long-term projects at our Cowal (West Whyalong), NSW Operations. You’ll be working with a professional team that values clear communication, safety, and efficiency backed by competitive pay, modern equipment, and industry-leading facilities.If you’re experienced, safety-conscious, and want to be part of a team that gets the job done right, we’d love to hear from you.

Both full-time and casual positions are available. DIDO on a company supplied bus with accommodation available for those residing outside the West Wyalong area. Roster is 7:7 (days) – day shift only.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support senior shotfirer with blasting activities.

- Follow Load and tie in plans.

- Explosive vehicle and magazine inspections.

- Handling explosives and ensuring safety.

- Cleaning and securing blast areas.

- Reporting incidents and completing documentation.

- Spotting MMU & Stemming loader on blast pattern.

The successful applicant will have:

- Previous experience in a shotfirer role

- Blasting Explosives User License (NSW)

- Pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol assessment

- A valid Driver’s License (manual)

- Security Clearance

Desirables

- HR Class Drivers License.

- Electronic blasting knowledge
