AVP/VP, Digital Strategy & Transformation, Global Financial Markets, Investment Banking

The DigiIB team is responsible for Investment Banking's regional digital transformation agenda by partnering with business, technology and operations staekholers to identify, design and deliver strategic initiatives that improve client engagement, strengthen controls, enhance productivity and support franchise growth. The individual will be required to drive platform development, process transofrmation, AI adoption and digital innovation across Fixed Income Origination, Fixed Income Sales, Equity Capital Markets and Equity Institutional Sales.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Strategy & Transformation

- Support the development and execution of Investment Banking's digital transformation roadmap.
- Identify opportunities to simplify processes, automate workflows and improve operating efficiency across Investment Banking.
- Drive business cases and strategic initiatives from concept through implementation.
- Stay updated with the lastest digital innovation solutions available and adopted by peers and competitors

Product & Platform Management

- Partner with business users and technology teams to enhance key platforms including FIX Core, FIX Marketplace and other Investment Banking applications.
- Gather requirements, prioritize enhancements and manage delivery across the project lifecycle.
- Support UAT, production rollout and post-implementation reviews.

AI & Innovation

- Identify and implement practical AI use cases across Investment Banking.
- Develop and coordinate pilot initiatives leveraging DBS GPT, Copilot and emerging AI capabilities.
- Promote adoption of digital tools and support user training and change management initiatives.

CRM & Client Intelligence

- Support the evaluation, design and implementation of a next-generation Investment Banking CRM platform.
- Work with stakeholders to consolidate client, transaction and relationship data into a unified view.
- Evaluate external vendors and emerging technologies to strengthen client engagement capabilities.

Stakeholder Management

- Collaborate with senior management, product heads, bankers, sales teams, technology, operations, finance, compliance and risk teams.
- Facilitate discussions, align priorities and drive execution across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Prepare management presentations, status updates and governance materials.

Planning & Governance

- Support annual budgeting and planning for DigiIB initiatives.
- Monitor project delivery, risks, dependencies and benefits realization.
- Maintain project documentation and governance standards.

Experience

- 5-10 years of experience in Investment Banking, Capital Markets, Strategy, COO, Business Management, Product Management, Digital Transformation or similar roles.
- Experience working with Sales & Trading or Capital Markets businesses preferred.
- Good understanding of Fixed Income and Equity productsand workflows is advantageous.
