Job Summary

CaseBase REPH Team is responsible for delivering accurate and timely legal content for the CaseBase portfolio by creating annotations, digests, and abstracts for cases and journal articles, selecting cases for publication, and proofreading content to ensure quality and compliance with editorial standards across Legal Express (LE), Australian Current Law Reporter (ACL), and related CaseBase platforms.

Accountabilities:

The CaseBase REPH Team is responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of accurate content to publications within the CaseBase portfolio.

- Creating annotations for cases and journal articles covering a variety of subject areas and jurisdictions, to be published in the CaseBase platforms, Legal Express (LE) and Australian Current Law Reporter (ACL);
- Creating digests for cases and journal articles covering a variety of subject areas and jurisdictions, to be published in the CaseBase platforms, LE and ACL;
- Creating abstracts for LE cases covering a variety of subject areas and jurisdictions, to be published in the CaseBase platforms and LE;
- Proofreading content to ensure its accuracy and compliance with house styles; and Selection of cases for inclusion in LE.

Qualifications:

- Must possess a Juris Doctor degree
- Strong commitment to performance and team success
- Sound level of computer literacy - Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office programs especially MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel·
- Average reading, legal comprehension, analytical, quantitative, and deductive reasoning skills
- Possesses excellent analysis and research skills·
- Demonstrate ability in the application of expert information to practical publishing environment·
- Superior reading, legal comprehension, and proofreading skills
- Legal practice and/or legal industry experience
- Must be committed to complete process training and certification
- Ability to follow and apply a prescribed writing style.
- Team player with openness to feedback and learning.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply enterprise AI tools and technologies to support technical workflows and business objectives
