About this role

Some careers grow faster than others.

At HSBC, you’ll help shape the future of talent by building meaningful relationships, strengthening Emiratization and connecting people with opportunities across the Bank.

The opportunity

This is a relationship-led, AI-enabled role - not a traditional recruitment position. You’ll build sustainable internal and external talent pipelines, support internal mobility and succession planning, and develop trusted connections across HSBC and the wider Emirati community.

You’ll combine human judgement with approved AI tools to identify talent, generate insights and simplify routine work, giving you more time to focus on meaningful conversations and relationships.

What you’ll do

- Build trusted relationships with Emirati talent, internal colleagues, business leaders, universities and professional communities.
- Develop sustainable pipelines for business-critical roles and priority talent segments.
- Support internal mobility by connecting colleagues with relevant roles, projects and development opportunities.
- Hold confidential career conversations and identify talent interests, aspirations and readiness.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, HR and business leaders on integrated talent strategies.
- Use approved AI tools to support market mapping, talent research, skills analysis and workflow automation.
- Validate AI-generated insights, protect confidentiality and ensure human judgement remains central to all talent decisions.
- Provide talent-market insights and support employer-brand and community-engagement activities.
- Maintain accurate talent data, engagement plans and relationship records.

What you’ll bring

- A graduation degree is essential for obtaining a UAE visa and work permit. If your university certificate is from outside the UAE, up-to-date attestations and equivalency are also mandatory (Recognition of Higher Education Qualifications Issued Outside The UAE).

- Experience in strategic sourcing, talent acquisition, talent management or a related field.
- Strong relationship-building, influencing and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience engaging with senior talent and diverse professional communities.
- Understanding of internal mobility, succession planning and Emiratization.
- Confidence using talent technology such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Talent Insights, Eightfold or Avature.
- Practical understanding of AI-enabled sourcing, talent intelligence and workflow automation.
- Strong data, communication and organisational skills.
- Sound judgement, discretion and the confidence to challenge unsupported AI outputs or inappropriate processes.
- Knowledge of applicable UAE labour requirements and Emiratization policy.

What success looks like

- Strong, sustainable internal and external pipelines for priority roles.
- Better visibility of internal talent and mobility opportunities.
- Trusted, long-term relationships across the Emirati talent community.
- High-quality, personalised experience for candidates, colleagues and stakeholders.

You’ll join a collaborative, international team where your work will have a visible impact on the growth of HSBC’s self-directed investing business. We support flexible and alternative ways of working where possible, including working from home and different hours, subject to approval.
