Responsibilities:

Job Summary
The Operator, Loading is responsible for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of materials and products, ensuring adherence to established procedures and quality standards.

Job Responsibilities
* Operate various loading and unloading equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks.
* Load and unload trucks, containers, and other transport vehicles according to delivery schedules and safety protocols.
* Verify the quantity and type of materials being loaded/unloaded against documentation (e.g., packing lists, invoices).
* Inspect materials for damage during loading and unloading, reporting any discrepancies or issues immediately.
* Ensure proper stacking, securing, and storage of materials to prevent damage and optimize warehouse space.
* Maintain a clean and organized loading dock area, adhering to housekeeping standards.
* Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on loading equipment, reporting any malfunctions.
* Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
* Collaborate with warehouse staff and drivers to facilitate smooth and timely operations.
* Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Job Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Proven experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, or similar material handling equipment.
* Valid forklift operator certification is preferred.
* Ability to read and understand packing lists, invoices, and other shipping documents.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects as required.
* Knowledge of basic safety procedures in a warehouse or industrial setting.
* Excellent communication skills.
