About the Role

Join our team as a Lead Test Engineer and help us build web application for a revolutionary automotive platform. This role offers a unique opportunity to join a project in its early stages under the guidance of experienced leaders with a proven track record. You will play a pivotal role in making crucial decisions that will shape the direction and success of our platform.

What you will do

- Design, develop, and maintain web application test activities.
- Identify test scenarios and write & execute integration testcase.
- Effectively communicating project status and updates to internal stakeholders.
- Collaborating with the team to ensure projects stay on track, meeting deadlines, and accommodating varying levels of complexity.
- Work closely with the stakeholders to identify and resolve issues.
- Follow Agile development methodologies to ensure timely and high-quality software delivery.

What You Need to Be Successful

Experience: 3-6 years of experience in Web application testing.

- Automated testing: Proven experience with the design, implementation, and maintenance of End-to-End tests for complex web ( microfrontend ) applications
- Playwright: Excellent knowledge of this framework
- Programming languages: Confidence in JavaScript/TypeScript (for writing tests in Playwright ). An advantage is knowledge of the Go (Golang) language and experience with the Mockery library for working with an older test suite , backend BFF layer
- API and backend testing: Practical experience with testing REST API integrations and the ability to verify asynchronous processes or data flows
- Code quality and CI/CD: Experience with seamless integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Cloud work: Ability to navigate dedicated testing environments ( Acceptance / QA Sandbox ) running on AWS infrastructure

- Be willing to work in an office in Bengaluru, India.
