About this role
Marshall Group is the audio, tech, and design powerhouse uniting musicians and music lovers through genre-breaking innovation. Our flagship brand, Marshall, is uniquely positioned with over 60 years of rock ‘n’ roll attitude on stage, at home, and on the go. Our iconic products are brought to life by a dedicated team of 800 passionate employees and sold in over 90 markets worldwide.
What you’ll do:
As our Digital Asset Management (DAM) Manager, you’ll play a central role in strengthening Marshall’s global content operations, making sure every digital asset is accessible, accurate and efficiently distributed across all markets and channels. Acting as the primary point of contact for creative teams, internal stakeholders, technology partners and platform vendors, you’ll own the end-to-end DAM ecosystem, oversee PIM synchronisation and keep the platform performing at its best.
You’ll also lead the AI agenda for DAM and content operations, championing automation that removes manual work, creates clear ownership and brings consistency and efficiency to how we create, find and reuse content across the organisation.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Act as primary owner and administrator of the DAM platform, managing configuration, user access, permissions, workflows, portals and administrative settings.
- Own metadata, taxonomies, naming conventions, asset types and collection structures, and set the standards for tagging, versioning, approvals, publishing, archiving and deletion.
- Oversee DAM and PIM synchronisation and support integrations with content management, e-commerce, project management, design and marketing technology systems.
- Monitor platform usage, storage, data quality and system health, running regular performance reviews and recommending improvements based on user needs and business priorities.
- Manage the relationship with our DAM provider, including support cases, service reviews, roadmap discussions and licence management, and coordinate upgrades, releases and testing with internal technology teams.
- Drive the AI agenda for DAM and content operations, identifying and implementing use cases that improve tagging, search, discovery, quality control, localisation and content reuse.
- Build workflow automations that reduce repetitive admin, manual handovers and production bottlenecks, and scale new AI-supported ways of working together with creative, marketing, e-commerce, product and technology teams.
- Support major campaigns, product launches and content migrations from an asset-readiness perspective, promoting the reuse of approved content to reduce duplicated production.
- Define clear roles for asset owners, contributors, approvers and users, and run regular audits on metadata accuracy, asset completeness, rights information and platform hygiene.
- Lead onboarding, training and ongoing support for internal teams and external partners, and maintain documentation, governance policies and SOPs.
- Establish reporting and dashboards on adoption, search effectiveness, asset reuse and workflow efficiency, and present insights and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
Who we’re looking for:
We’re looking for a structured and curious DAM professional who combines strong platform expertise with a background in marketing operations, creative project management or content production. You’re as comfortable working with integrations, APIs and metadata structures as you are understanding the day-to-day needs of marketing, e-commerce and product teams. You turn complex technical requirements into simple, user-friendly processes, you thrive in an international environment and you love finding smarter ways of working. Above all, you’re collaborative and service-minded, with a genuine passion for music and culture.
You probably have the following experiences & skills:
- Proven experience owning and administering a DAM platform such as Bynder, Adobe Experience Manager Assets, Acquia DAM, Canto or similar.
- Hands-on experience with DAM configuration, metadata, taxonomy, permissions, workflows, user administration and governance.
- Experience working with a Product Information Management (PIM) platform. Knowledge of Inriver is a strong plus.
- A solid understanding of DAM/PIM integrations, APIs, data synchronisation and asset-to-product relationships.
- Experience implementing workflow automations (e.g. Figma integrations) or AI-supported content management capabilities.
- Experience managing platform vendors, support relationships and performance reviews.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose platform, process and data-quality issues.
- The ability to balance hands-on administration with strategic development and long-term planning.
- Experience working with creative, marketing, e-commerce, product and technology stakeholders across multiple countries and cultures.
- A structured, detail-oriented approach combined with strong communication, mediation and conflict-resolution skills.
