Location: Vernon, NJ Reporting to: Buildings and Grounds Manager

Mountain Creek, a four-season resort, offers skiing/snowboarding, bike park, waterpark, weddings, mountain coaster, restaurants and lodge.

How the Buildings and Grounds Technician works with the Team:

The Buildings and Grounds Technician is responsible for day-to-day general maintenance of the resort, including but not limited to plumbing, electric, carpentry, and troubleshooting all systems.

Team Member Responsibilities:

- Perform day to day general maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electric, and carpentry)

- Preventative maintenance of all systems (i.e. Heating, air conditioning)

- Be able to respond to work orders and directions in a timely manner

- Work in all types of weather when needed

- Tree trimming as needed.

- Be able to interact with other departments to accomplish Resort objectives

- Work in a safe manner protecting both yourself and others

- Troubleshoot and repair all systems

- Other duties as assigned by Manager

Team Member Qualifications:

- High School diploma required.

- Must have mechanical aptitude with strong plumbing and HVAC skills

- Be able to lift in excess of 50 lbs

- Applicants must be able to work flexible schedule, including weekends in-season, and overtime when needed

- Must have valid drivers license

- Trade school or 2-5 years work experience in the field

- Be able to read and interpret instructions and manuals as needed
