We are seeking a skilled and motivated NetSuite Technical Senior Consultant to join our growing NetSuite consulting team in India. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, configuring, integrating, and supporting NetSuite ERP solutions that address client business requirements.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in SuiteScript, JavaScript, NetSuite customizations, and system integrations, along with hands-on experience supporting ERP implementations and enhancements. You will collaborate with functional consultants, technical leads, and project teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-quality NetSuite solutions.

Key Responsibilities

NetSuite Configuration & Development

- Configure and customize NetSuite features, including custom forms, fields, records, workflows, roles, and permissions.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance SuiteScript solutions using SuiteScript 2.x, including Client Scripts, User Event Scripts, Suitelets, RESTlets, and Map/Reduce scripts.
- Create and optimize saved searches, reports, dashboards, and workflows to support business requirements.
- Perform data imports, exports, and migrations using NetSuite CSV tools and other supported methods.
- Develop and support integrations using REST APIs, SOAP web services, RESTlets, and SFTP/flat-file interfaces.
- Follow established technical design standards, development methodologies, and coding best practices.

Implementation, Delivery & Support

- Execute technical development activities based on approved solution designs and functional specifications.
- Support NetSuite implementation projects through configuration, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, resolve defects, and implement system enhancements.
- Analyze technical requirements and collaborate with senior team members to identify appropriate solutions.
- Provide ongoing application support, investigate reported issues, and deliver timely resolutions.
- Identify technical risks, dependencies, and potential improvements, escalating complex issues when appropriate.

Testing & Quality Assurance

- Develop and execute unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Participate in defect triage, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
- Validate technical solutions through regression testing and quality assurance activities.
- Participate in peer code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve solution quality and maintainability.

Documentation & Deployment

- Prepare and maintain technical documentation for scripts, configurations, integrations, and customizations.
- Support release management, deployment tracking, and development activities using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
- Maintain accurate documentation of technical changes, testing outcomes, and deployment activities.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

- Collaborate with NetSuite functional consultants, technical leads, project managers, and other delivery team members.
- Communicate technical progress, challenges, and resolutions clearly to internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives, technical discussions, and development best practices.
- Stay current with NetSuite platform enhancements, SuiteScript capabilities, and emerging integration technologies.
- Actively pursue relevant NetSuite certifications and professional development opportunities.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in ERP technical development, software development, or technical consulting, including hands-on NetSuite development experience.
- Strong working knowledge of the NetSuite ERP platform, including customizations, configurations, workflows, and saved searches.
- Hands-on experience developing and maintaining SuiteScript 2.x solutions, including Client Scripts, User Event Scripts, Suitelets, RESTlets, or Map/Reduce scripts.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, including debugging, troubleshooting, and applying coding best practices.
- Working knowledge of system integrations using REST APIs, SOAP web services, or other integration technologies.
- Experience supporting ERP implementations, enhancements, technical deployments, or production support activities.
- Familiarity with data migration and management using NetSuite CSV import/export functionality.
- Experience performing unit testing, troubleshooting technical defects, and supporting UAT activities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate across technical and functional teams.
- Ability to manage assigned deliverables, meet project timelines, and work effectively in a collaborative consulting environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working on multiple NetSuite implementation, optimization, or support projects.
- NetSuite certifications, such as SuiteFoundation, SuiteCloud Developer, or other relevant technical certifications.
- Experience with advanced SuiteScript development, performance optimization, and complex customizations.
- Exposure to NetSuite integration frameworks, SuiteTalk REST/SOAP web services, and third-party integration platforms.
- Familiarity with SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF), SuiteCloud CLI, or automated deployment practices.
- Experience using Azure DevOps, Git, or similar version control and release management tools.
- Understanding of ERP business processes, including finance, order management, procurement, inventory, or related functional areas.
- Experience working in a professional services or consulting environment supporting multiple clients or projects.
- Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies and structured software development lifecycle practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with globally distributed teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning, technical excellence, and knowledge sharing.
