About this role

Description

The GRS Delivery Center is expanding from a North America model to support GRS-wide finance needs, with added offshore analyst and developer capacity through EXL. This role helps the Director, GRS Delivery Center prioritize and deliver the projects that make that expansion work, through system solutions, process improvements, and greater use of EXL resources.

It is the onshore link between finance leaders and the Delivery Center, so process gaps and recurring problems are identified, prioritized, and fixed, and new offshore capacity is put to use quickly.

Acts as a project lead for Delivery Center initiatives, owning each one from scoping through delivery. Stays closely connected to the Planning Leads, Reporting Leads, and other finance leaders to understand their recurring work, find gaps, and recommend priorities to the Director, who makes the final call. Once priorities are set, owns the plan, the steps, the execution, and the delivery, with guidance and oversight from the Director and an expectation of independent thought and sound judgment.

Works through EXL Power BI developers and EXL FP&A analysts to design and deliver solutions that support dashboards, datamarts, recurring reporting and planning support, and lower-complexity analytics for GRS & Domestic FP&A, Domestic Business Partnering, and the GRS Consolidated Expense team. Also works hands-on to improve processes directly, including through AI-enabled tools. Has no direct reports and leads through influence in a matrixed environment.

Job Responsibilities

1. Partners with Planning Leads, Reporting Leads, and other finance leaders to understand recurring work, deadlines, and pain points, and identifies gaps, inefficiencies, and work that can be standardized, automated, or moved to scaled delivery, so added offshore capacity is used quickly.

2. Evaluates opportunities and recommends priorities to the Director, GRS Delivery Center, with a clear view of business value, effort, dependencies, and available onshore and offshore capacity.

3. Owns assigned projects end to end, including scope, requirements, timeline, milestones, dependencies, status updates, and delivery. Keeps the Director informed and raises risks and tradeoffs early.

4. Works with EXL Power BI developers to define requirements, test, and deliver dashboard, datamart, and reporting solutions using Power BI, Finance BI, Anaplan, CI Ops, and related data sources.

5. Works with EXL FP&A analysts to onboard and transition recurring, repeatable work, document processes, set quality standards, and confirm outputs meet stakeholder needs.

6. Translates business questions from finance stakeholders into clear requirements and work plans that developers and analysts can execute.

7. Works with Financial Enablement and technology partners so Delivery Center projects are coordinated with broader finance system roadmaps and do not duplicate other efforts.

8. Builds and improves processes and solutions directly where it is faster or more effective than handing off, including use of AI-enabled tools such as Copilot, Claude, and ChatGPT to improve workflow design, documentation, quality control, and offshore onboarding.

9. Supports adoption of new solutions and processes through clear documentation, training, and stakeholder feedback, and tracks results such as cycle time, manual effort, and capacity gained.

10. Maintains a view of the project pipeline and capacity across the Delivery Center, and provides regular updates to the Director and partner leads.
