About this role

Infopro Digital group is recruiting for Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) on a permanent basis to join our Red-on-line business unit based either out of London or Paris.

Infopro Digital is a B2B group specialising in information and technology. With a presence in 26 countries, the group has 4,000 employees of 79 nationalities.

About Red-on-line

Red-on-line offers a complete all-in-one solution – software, expertise, and content – supporting management systems in EHS across more than 85 countries. Used by over 2,000 leading organisations, our services empower EHS professionals and certified companies (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) to manage all their compliance and risk challenges through a comprehensive multilingual online platform.

From regulatory monitoring, risk analysis, audits, and incident tracking, through to action plans, Red-on-line delivers tailored solutions backed by our multidisciplinary international team of legal experts, marketers, product managers, sales professionals, and engineers.

As part of Infopro Digital’s global group, Red-on-line combines the stability of a well-funded international leader with the agility of a specialist team making an impact in the EHS technology space.

About the role

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Chief Marketing Officer plays a critical leadership role in driving predictable, scalable revenue growth across both new and existing customers. The CMO will also build, structure and lead the marketing team needed to deliver this ambition.

This role brings together three core marketing motions: Product Marketing (market insight, positioning and go-to-market), Demand Generation (new business acquisition) and Client Marketing (existing client expansion, upsell and renewal support). The successful candidate will own the full marketing chain, from understanding customers and shaping our offers through to pipeline creation, revenue influence and customer growth.

You will act as the senior commercial marketing partner to Sales leadership and as the voice of the customer for Product teams, ensuring alignment between market needs, marketing strategy, pipeline performance and revenue outcomes.

This is a highly commercial, performance-led executive role, combining strategic vision, hands-on execution and team building, suited to a seasoned B2B marketing leader with a strong background in product marketing, demand generation, lifecycle marketing and revenue-focused marketing strategy. We value an entrepreneurial mindset: beyond these missions, you will be expected to be proactive and to continuously improve your scope.

Key tasks and responsibilities

Product Marketing, Market Insight & Go-to-Market

- Consolidate feedback from customer-facing teams and run continuous competitive intelligence to identify new market trends.
- Define positioning, messaging and value propositions for each offer, segment and region.
- Contribute to the development of our offers and business model, acting as a force of proposal on pricing and packaging.
- Partner with Product Management to translate customer needs into features, define value improvement areas for target segments and lead product launches.
- Build the sales pitch and sales enablement kits (presentations, battlecards, white papers, videos, website content) that demonstrate the added value and competitiveness of Red-on-line offers.

Brand & Thought Leadership

- Define and strengthen the Red-on-line brand, positioning it as a reference in EHS and compliance solutions across international markets.
- Build a thought leadership strategy (expert content, regulatory insights, white papers, webinars) leveraging Red-on-line’s legal and EHS expertise.
- Represent Red-on-line across the EHS and CSR ecosystem, including major industry events, speaking opportunities and social media.

Demand Generation & New Business Growth

- Own new business pipeline creation targets aligned to sales capacity and revenue goals.
- Design and execute integrated demand programmes across digital, content, webinars, events, ABM, and partner channels.
- Drive qualified lead and opportunity volume across priority segments, regions, and products.

- Drive programmes that increase product engagement, stickiness, and lifetime value.
- Partner with Account Management and Customer Success to align campaigns with account growth plans and whitespace opportunities.

Sales & Cross-functional Alignment

- Work closely with the Commercial Director, Regional Sales Leaders, and Enterprise Account Managers.
- Define ICPs and ensure consistent segmentation and targeting across acquisition and expansion.
- Align marketing investment with commercial priorities and measurable revenue impact.
- Report to the General Manager on marketing strategy, performance and investment, and contribute to company-level strategic decisions.
- Act as the bridge between Product, Sales and Marketing, ensuring roadmap communication reaches customers and the field with clear, consistent messaging.
- Own performance dashboards, reporting, and marketing ROI tracking.

Team Leadership & Talent Acquisition

- Define the marketing organisation and hiring plan, and recruit the talent needed to deliver commercial objectives.
- Lead, develop and retain a high-performing team, with clear objectives and KPIs.
- Select and manage external agencies and partners where relevant.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 10+ years’ experience in B2B marketing, with senior-level responsibility across product marketing, demand generation and/or lifecycle marketing.
