CDL-A Local Hazmat Driver – Ontario, CA

Pay Details & Schedule

- Average Annual Pay: $75,000–$78,000
- Top Drivers: $90,000+ annually
- Hourly Pay: $26
- Overtime: Time-and-a-half after 40 hours per week
- Weekly Performance & Safety Bonus: $50
- Paid weekly
- Home daily
- Four-day workweek: Thursday–Sunday
- Consecutive days off
- Start times: 6:00–9:00 AM or 10:00 AM–1:00 PM
- Shifts average 12–14 hours
- Optional fifth workday may be available

Job Details

- Local hazardous-materials delivery
- Operate a late-model day cab with a 48-foot dry van trailer
- Multi-stop deliveries
- Use a liftgate and electric pallet jack
- Hazmat endorsement required

Job Requirements

- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years
- At least 22 years old
- Valid Hazmat endorsement
- No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years, subject to restrictions
- No more than 1 DOT-recordable preventable accident in the past 3 years
- FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse profile required
- Must meet English language requirements for safe driving and required communication
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- No SAP drivers
