National Sales Manager, Canada
Job Description
Ready to shape the future of Axis in Canada?
As National Sales Manager, Canada, you'll lead our sales organization across the country and join the Canadian leadership team. You'll guide a national team of sales leaders and specialists, build strong relationships with customers and partners, and help Axis grow sustainably in the Canadian market. The role is based in Mississauga, Ontario.
What you'll do as National Sales Manager, Canada
This role sits where strategy meets results. You'll turn Axis's business goals into clear plans for the Canadian market and lead the people who deliver them.
- Set the direction: Help shape the national sales strategy, then lead its rollout. You'll turn priorities into clear plans, goals and performance expectations for the Canadian sales team.
- Keep track of performance and the market: Follow sales results, market conditions, customer needs and what competitors are doing. You'll use these insights to spot opportunities and deal with risks early.
- Report to leadership: Review forecasts, pipeline and performance numbers, and give leadership timely, accurate reports.
- Make key commercial decisions: Guide pricing and commercial decisions for strategic customers and major opportunities, following Axis policies and approval steps.
- Lead and develop your team: Coach and develop your sales leaders and teams. You'll build an inclusive, accountable and high-performing organization with a culture of customer focus, ownership and continuous learning.
- Build lasting relationships: Develop strategic relationships with key customers, partners and industry stakeholders. You'll represent Axis at important customer meetings and industry events, and support your team on complex deals and negotiations.
- Work across the business: Partner with other functions to align sales plans, coordinate resources and keep teams up to date on priorities, market developments, forecasts and progress. You'll also make sure the sales organization follows company policies, processes and ethical standards.
Who we are looking for
You think strategically and have strong commercial judgment, and you know how to turn plans into measurable results. You lead in a collaborative way: you coach people, grow talent and bring teams together, whether you're with them in person or connecting virtually across the country. You communicate clearly and confidently with senior stakeholders, and you negotiate and influence well. You stay resilient and focused on results when the market shifts. Above all, you lead ethically, value cooperation and keep looking for ways to improve.
What you bring:
- A bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
- Significant sales experience, ideally in video surveillance, physical security or a related technology market
- A track record of leading and developing managers and sales teams spread across different locations
- Experience setting and delivering sales strategy, managing forecasts and pipelines, and meeting business targets
- Experience supporting complex sales opportunities and negotiations
- Experience working across functions and contributing to senior leadership discussions
Bonus points for:
- Fluency in French
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting tools
- Experience in a large, cross-functional organization with shared goals and responsibilities
Travel: This role involves about 60% travel each year.
Pay range: The approximate total compensation range for this location and position is $210,000 - $240,000, which includes a 70% base / 30% commission OTE and corporate bonus. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
