About this role
Description
The Sort Center Quality Senior Supply Chain Manager ultimately solves the questions of (1) how do we deliver world-class Delivery Estimate Accuracy (DEA) at our highest-volume Sort Center Hubs, (2) how do we drive systemic reduction in DEA misses across the NASC Central Hub network, and (3) how do we build durable quality mechanisms that scale as volume concentrates.
Are you an experienced Business Operator with a strong work ethic? Do you enjoy solving complex operational quality problems? If yes, this opportunity will appeal to you. At Amazon, we're working to be the most customer-centric company on earth. To get there, we need exceptionally talented, bright, and driven people.
The Sort Center Quality Supply Chain Manager works cross-functionally with NASC Operations, ACES, and Product/Tech teams to define quality goals, root cause defect drivers, and drive corrective actions at NASC Central Hubs. They maintain and report up-to-date and accurate performance statistics, management reports, and analysis, and facilitate the flow of quality signals between site Operations and central planning teams. The Sr. SCM provides timely resolution to issues by researching internal tools and making real-time decisions grounded in operational data. This position requires the ability to program manage multiple workstreams across various NASC functions. This role is high-visibility, with regular interaction with senior leadership and involvement in critical operational decisions.
