The Balmoral is located at Edinburgh’s most prestigious address, No. 1 Princes Street, where the Old Town stops and the New Town begins. Our hotel’s majestic clock defines the city’s skyline and since the day we opened in 1902 it has run three minutes fast to ensure our guests will never miss their train.

Your key responsibilities

Rocco Forte Hotels are a collection of iconic hotels that respects the individuality of location and its team members, encouraging them to be their natural selves while providing a local, authentic experience to our guests.

Number One offers a 3 course choice menu and 5 course tasting menu of favourite Scottish and British produce. Our menu may include: Loch Duart salmon, Shetland halibut, hand-dived Orkney scallops, Hopetoun Estate roe deer, Pentland's beef, honey from the roof of the Balmoral, or Yorkshire rhubarb. We also use prestigious international produce such as N25 caviar and seasonal fresh truffles.

Who we are looking for

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals who are passionate about celebrating the individuality of our hotels and guests.

This part-time offers 15 hours per week with shifts scheduled from 17:30 to 22:30.

The successful candidate will be able to work a flexible rota, including weekend, throughout December and on 1st and 2nd January to support operational business needs.

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.

The expected salary package of our part-time Waiter is £13,640 gross per annum (salary plus discretionary service charge)
