Job Description

Just imagine developing the next generation of fully automated production equipment that helps bring LEGO® bricks to life. Then make it real.

About the role

As our Senior Equipment Engineer, you'll develop fully automated Processing Equipment Solutions for decorating, pre-assembling and coating LEGO® bricks.

Working closely with project teams and key partners, you'll turn business needs into robust equipment solutions involving robotics, vision, feeding and product transport systems.

You'll take equipment from early concepts through detailed design and implementation, balancing performance, safety, quality and maintainability.

Required Qualifications

- Experience in developing fully automated, high-speed and high-precision manufacturing equipment from early concepts through detailed design and implementation.
- Proficient with mechanical design using CAD tools and technical document management systems, for example Siemens NX and Teamcenter or similar.
- The ability to contribute to technical decisions, planning and structured problem solving.
- Experience with testing, validation and systematic problem solving.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with others to achieve shared success.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications

- Insight into Industry 4.0, for example digital twins and simulations.
- High level of experience with robotics, vision, feeding and product transport systems.

Life on the team

You'll join Technology Development, where we combine innovation, engineering and industrialization to create future manufacturing capabilities and capacity for decoration and pre-assembly of LEGO bricks. Joining the team gives you the opportunity to work on highly automated machinery, new technologies and strategic development initiatives while collaborating with skilled engineering specialists and project teams across the LEGO Group. The team embraces the LEGO approach of "Thinking BIG, Starting Small, and Implementing with Speed."

What success looks like

You'll become a trusted technical contributor who can independently create machine concepts and detailed designs while owning complex technical challenges. Looking ahead, you'll help us develop next-generation processing platforms with greater use of automation, robotics and digital technologies. You'll work closely with project managers, equipment engineers, platform owners, production sites, procurement, technical specialists and external suppliers as we build scalable manufacturing capabilities for future LEGO products.
