About this role
As a Machinist, you will be responsible for executing machining shop operations according to technical drawings, company procedures, and quality requirements, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform machining operations according to technical drawings, specifications, and established procedures.
- Comply with the Quality Management System requirements in accordance with AS9100 standards.
- Follow established procedures, work instructions, and formats.
- Ensure compliance with applicable internal and external document changes.
- Participate in the definition and documentation of acceptance and rejection criteria for assigned processes and products.
- Support process audits to verify compliance with established standards (ISO 9000, control plans, customer certifications, corrective actions).
- Ensure proper documentation and approval of process or product deviations, including customer approval when required.
- Support off-line activities such as rework, inspections, or sorting as needed.
- Maintain order, cleanliness, safety, and quality in the work area.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma (preferred).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the maquiladora industry or a similar position.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Basic English proficiency.
- Teamwork and collaboration.
- Proactive and responsible attitude.
