New Life Mission is seeking a Communications Coordinator to tell the stories of transformation happening within our Christ-centered program and connect donors, volunteers, churches and community partners with opportunities to make a difference.

We equip women with children to transform their families for generations through education, accountability and goal advancement. We’re looking for someone who can communicate that work with clarity and care—and bring structure and follow-through to our communications.

About the role
Reporting to the Director of Development, you will plan and produce communications across email, social media, print and our website. You’ll work with the CEO and staff to develop quarterly campaigns and maintain one annual advancement calendar that keeps fundraising, events, storytelling and leadership communications moving together.

This is a hands-on role. You’ll write stories, design materials, create and publish social media content, capture photos and short videos, and manage deadlines from idea through publication.

What you’ll do
• Maintain the annual advancement calendar and develop quarterly campaign plans with leadership.
• Plan topics, prepare drafts and coordinate production for CEO e-blasts and videos.
• Gather and write stories that communicate the mission’s impact while protecting the dignity and privacy of the families we serve.
• Manage social media, including content creation, scheduling, publishing and audience engagement.
• Create newsletters, fundraising emails, brochures, invitations, presentations and other branded materials.
• Keep website content and the monthly New Life Dashboard current.
• Coordinate event promotion, media opportunities and outside production vendors.
• Track communication and campaign results and recommend improvements.

What you’ll bring
• Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills.
• Strong organization and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple deadlines and follow through.
• Experience creating and publishing social media content, including graphics and short videos.
• Ability to design clear, attractive materials using Canva or comparable tools.
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms, Microsoft Office and WordPress or similar website tools.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and handle sensitive information with care.
• Commitment to New Life Mission’s Christ-centered mission and values.

Experience in nonprofit communications, journalism, marketing or a related field is preferred. Photography and video editing skills are a plus.

What success looks like
Our communications have a clear direction. Campaigns are planned ahead, materials are delivered on time, and supporters hear consistent, compelling messages about how they can help families move toward self-sufficiency.
