Accounts Receivable Clerk – Boynton Beach, FL

The Role
In this position, you will be the backbone of the incoming revenue cycle. You will manage the billing process, ensure payments are applied accurately, and maintain clear communication with clients and internal departments. We are looking for a "numbers person" who is equally comfortable picking up the phone to resolve a billing discrepancy with a professional touch.
Key Responsibilities
Billing & Invoicing: Prepare and distribute accurate invoices to customers based on project milestones and contracts.
Payment Application: Process incoming checks, ACH, and credit card payments, ensuring they are applied to the correct accounts.
Dispute Resolution: Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies by collaborating with Sales and Project Management teams.
Reporting: Assist in month-end closing activities and provide regular updates on the status of outstanding receivables.
Qualifications
Experience: 1+ years of AR experience is preferred, but we are open to training someone with a strong administrative/finance background and high attention to detail.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for client interactions.
Organization: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Location: Must be able to work on-site in Boynton Beach, FL .
Compensation & Benefits
Starting Salary: $23.00 per hour.
