About the Role

The Manager, Social Content & Engagement will help turn FTI Consulting’s expertise into timely, useful stories for audiences across the firm’s social channels. Working across Global Brand, Campaign and Market Engagement, this role will identify the right experts and subjects, shape content with them from the outset, and produce social-first work that supports the Expert Authority and Real-World Experience campaign. The role brings channel insight to editorial planning, helping experts build recognizable voices and reach relevant audiences across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and other appropriate platforms. It combines proactive planning with the ability to respond quickly when current events create a relevant opportunity for FTI experts to offer insight. The Manager will work closely with Audience Engagement, Organic Social Media, Paid Media and production partners so content is designed for its audience, channel and intended impact and contribution to client growth.

What You’ll Do

- Build and maintain an editorial pipeline of FTI experts, areas of expertise and emerging issues, working with subject matter experts and marketing partners to identify stories worth telling.
- Monitor relevant news and market developments; assess when FTI can offer a distinctive, credible perspective and coordinate timely expert responses with appropriate review and approval.
- Interview and collaborate with experts to translate complex analysis into clear, accurate short-form video, written posts and other social content. Connect immediate developments to their practical and longer-term implications for clients.
- Develop recurring expert-led content formats that complement the Real-World Experience campaign. Help experts move beyond occasional thought leadership posts toward distinctive, consistent social voices whose insight audiences recognize, trust and share.
- Partner with Associate Marketing and other production colleagues at the planning stage of longer-form shoots to define audiences, messages, questions, formats and capture needs. Design each shoot to support a connected set of long-form stories, short-form video, expert perspectives, social content and campaign assets.
- Work with the Director, Audience Engagement & Social Media to align editorial priorities with the overarching organic social strategy. Bring a point of view on the role of LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and emerging channels, adapting expert stories to each channel’s audience, format and behavior rather than distributing the same asset everywhere.
- Partner with the Paid Media & Activation lead to identify expert content suited to paid social, plan channel-specific formats and variants, and connect audience engagement with campaign and client growth goals. Use performance insights to improve future work.
- Partner with the Senior Director, Global Employer Brand, and the recruiting team to align expert, people and culture storytelling with employer brand priorities. Identify opportunities to adapt Global Brand, Campaign and Engagement Marketing content for prospective talent, and plan complementary social content that helps candidates understand FTI’s expertise, people and career opportunities.
- Coordinate day-to-day management of FTI Consulting's corporate social channels, including editorial planning, content workflows, community engagement and performance monitoring, working closely with the broader social media team and segment and regional marketing colleagues to support scheduling and publishing.
- Collaborate with design, video and campaign teams on briefs, scripts, graphics, edits and approvals; protect accuracy, brand standards and a consistent voice.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the firm’s employee advocacy platform, including content curation and publishing, participant support, onboarding and adoption initiatives, to help professionals amplify FTI’s expertise and storytelling.
- Conduct social media training for new hires in the Global Marketing and Segment Marketing teams as needed and provide resources and guidance to support effective participation across social channels and the employee advocacy platform.
- Monitor conversations and potential reputational concerns, escalating issues through appropriate communications and social media leads.
- Monitor and summarize organic social performance, working with strategy and paid media partners to evaluate content effectiveness, identify audience insights and apply learnings to editorial choices, content formats and production plans.
- Potential opportunity beginning in 2027 to support Business Development with quick-turn expert videos and social content tailored to RFPs and prospective client opportunities.
