Test and Reliability Specialist I - Vaux

Job Description
The Test and Reliability Specialist performs defined tests on robotic systems and reports results to verify functionality and repeatability. This includes regression testing of independent functionality as robotic software is updated/upgraded, full function mission testing, as well as testing in simulated customer environments. This position also gathers and uses data to complete reports for the Robotics team.
Responsibilities
- Execute test cases relating to robot functionality and performance.
- Record and document results from testing.
- Observe and report functional abnormalities and provide feedback.
- Monitor machines during testing to ensure safe operation.
- Perform continuous testing through a full workday.
- Collaborate with Test Engineers and Robotics team to understand and implement testing.
- Other duties and projects, as assigned.

Requirements
Education:
- Associate's Degree in Engineering or related field, required
Experience:
- 1 year of experience with electronic/mechanical troubleshooting, preferred
- Experience with simple shell scripting, preferred
Computer Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiar with Linux/Unix, preferred

Other Details
Work Hours:
- Generally, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with occasional irregular hours depending on workload.
Travel Requirements:
- Minimal (0%-25%)
Compensation:
- This is a salary position paid biweekly.
