About this role
Caregiver needed for 8 hour shifts M-F $24 per hour in Brentwood area of LA
We are looking to hire a proactive, tech-savvy caregiver for an 8-hour, Monday–Friday day position in Brentwood (West Los Angeles). Our client is an active, independent woman in her 80s in the early stages of memory loss. She has a full social calendar with outings with friends, physical therapy and many doctor's appointments, and she likes to stay in charge of her own day. We need a smart, confident caregiver with dementia experience who can gently keep her on schedule without taking over, and who stays patient and calm when she pushes back. You must have your own reliable car, a valid license and insurance, because you'll drive her to all appointments and activities. You'll also do light housekeeping, prepare meals, and walk and care for her small, friendly dog. Her family relies on daily updates, so you must be comfortable using WhatsApp every day to follow her posted calendar and send updates on appointments and activities. If you're organized, resourceful and great at building trust with strong-willed clients, we'd love to hear from you.
This is a W2 Agency position.
