Accountable for performance, cost control, and reliability outcomes; escalations for distributed debugging and upgrade safety. Drives significant cross-team improvements to observability, SLOs, and resilience patterns. Engages stakeholders inside and outside the group; socializes migration plans and adoption playbooks.
About the Team & Organization
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a Senior Manager, Platform Software Engineering to lead multiple engineering teams within the OCI FinOps Cloud Advisor and Cloud Capacity Management organization .
In this role, you will guide the development and evolution of cloud optimization and capacity management platforms that help Oracle's internal service teams and external customers optimize cloud resources, understand infrastructure capacity, and make informed decisions about utilization, cost, and future demand.
You will oversee engineering delivery, platform architecture, and operational excellence across Cloud Advisor and Cloud Capacity Management (CCM). You will drive scalable backend services, APIs, SDKs, and shared platform capabilities while improving service reliability, security, performance, and customer experiences.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in distributed systems and platform engineering with demonstrated experience leading engineering teams, developing talent, influencing cross-functional stakeholders, and delivering reliable cloud services at scale.
