Fire Protection Services, LLC is hiring an experienced Sprinkler Service Technician for the Perry / Middle Georgia area. This is a service and repair role — you'll run your own route, keep systems in service, and fix problems right the first time.
What you'll do
- Service, repair, and troubleshoot wet and dry fire sprinkler systems
- Five-year internal inspections and three-year dry system trip tests
- Shut down, drain, and safely restore systems
- Change out sprinkler heads; repair leaks and damaged pipe
- Preventative maintenance and retrofit work
- Document your work in BuildingReports — clean, complete, same day
- Represent FPS in front of customers: professional, straight answers, done right the first time
What you bring
- 5+ years as a sprinkler service technician — pipe fitter background
- Hands-on experience with wet and dry systems, system shutdowns, and repairs
- NICET Level I or II preferred — not required
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license; must pass a background check and drug test
Pay and benefits
- $30-$40/hr, depending on experience
- $2,500 sign-on bonus for experienced technicians
- Medical through UnitedHealthcare; dental and vision also available
