Description
To perform general labor duties that are assigned, in a safe and efficient manner, in all areas of production, per Juanita's policies and procedures, to ensure that daily production requirements are met. These areas include but not limited to various production lines.
Requirements
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Check accuracy and proper functioning of equipment
- Works in conjunction with Quality & Maintenance staff to resolve issues affecting the product being manufactured according to set standards
- Notifies Production Manager of any processing problems or irregularities
- Basic knowledge of computer operations
- Complete daily labeling reports completely and accurately
- Must be open to operating a forklift in a safe & efficient manner
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule per production requirements
- Must be open to cross training on all tasks performed in production areas
- Work in a safe & efficient manner.
- Follow all safety, GMP, quality, and operational guidelines
- Complete any other job duties assigned in the production area
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Must have the ability to speak, read and write in English and follow instructions.
- Must be able to perform basic mathematic calculations & logically work through problems.
- Must be able to accomplish "on-time" start-ups and efficient change-overs.
- Must be able to produce product in accordance to quality standards and specifications
- Basic working knowledge of equipment and machinery.
- Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking and lifting.
- Must be able to lift to 50 pounds at times.
- Sitting for prolonged periods of time
Salary Description
$22.25 per hour
