UNION SPOT LABORER - DAYS

Columbus Distributing Company is a family-owned sales and service corporation proudly distributing Anheuser-Busch, Yuengling, craft, and imported beers throughout Franklin County, Ohio. We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Laborer to join our Operations team. This position is responsible for accurately picking, loading, and preparing products for delivery while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment. The Warehouse Laborer plays an important role in ensuring customer orders are assembled correctly, products are handled safely, and delivery trucks are loaded efficiently to support timely and accurate deliveries.

Schedule & Pay

- Four-day workweek: Monday–Thursday

- Start time: 8:00 AM

- Paid weekly

Responsibilities

- Ensure products are picked and loaded according to code dates.

- Load beer delivery trucks safely and efficiently.

- Build and organize pallets of beer for delivery.

- Pick and pull customer orders using warehouse technology and an RF gun.

- Handle products carefully to prevent breakage and damage.

- Load delivery trucks in the correct sequence to support efficient delivery routes and prevent delays.

- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and surrounding warehouse.

- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily warehouse and delivery deadlines.

- Demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills, pursue professional development, and explore opportunities for career advancement, including obtaining a Commercial Drivers License (CDL).

Qualifications

- Lift 30 lbs. from overhead to floor and lift kegs (up to 165 lbs.)

- Be able to work full time.

- Have Warehouse experience -1 year

- Forklift and Electric Pallet Jack experience
