Monday-Friday, 6:00am-10:00am
Hours per Week : 20 Hours

Salary Range : $18.38-19.24 per hour
About the Role:
Join a team where your work makes a visible difference every day! As a Custodian at the Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) Facility , you'll play an important role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for employees and visitors.
In this hands-on position, you'll help keep offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas looking their best through general cleaning, floor care, waste removal, dusting, and window cleaning. You'll also safely operate cleaning equipment and may assist with seasonal outdoor tasks such as snow removal, salting, mowing, and edging.

Education and Experience: Requires an IEP, GED, or high school education or equivalent, with experience in grounds maintenance procedures.
Language Skills : Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and Material Safety Data Sheets; write simple reports; and speak effectively before customers or management.
Instruction and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions and deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Physical Demands: Regularly stand and walk; use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel; and reach with digits, hands, and arms. Frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift or move more than 50 pounds with assistance. Close vision is required.
Work Environment: Exposure to noise, dust, heat, fumes, and other elements, with several continuously present to the extent of being disagreeable.
