About this role
Pharmacy technicians assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory, and maintaining patient records. Pharmacy technicians work only under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. They do not perform duties that can legally be performed by only a registered pharmacist. In addition to responsibilities for a Tech I, Pharmacy Technician II demonstrates a high level of initiative and motivation along with competency in a specialized area(s) of the department
- Education: Recently certified, licensed or graduated within past 12 months, minimum required.
- License and Certification : Current pharmacy technician registration and certification that is recognized by the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy is required.
