About the role

As an Apprentice Electrician, you'll work as part of a supportive team while developing the technical skills and knowledge required to become a qualified electrician.

Your duties will include:

- Assisting with the installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of electrical equipment
- Supporting work on substations, generation assets, and industrial electrical systems
- Learning and applying safe work practices and industry standards
- Participating in both practical on-site training and formal coursework
- Contributing to a positive team culture with a strong focus on safety

About you

We're looking for people who are:

- Passionate about starting a career in the electrical industry
- Reliable, motivated, and eager to learn
- Strong communicators who enjoy working in a team environment
- Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions
- Committed to completing an apprenticeship programme
- Safety-focused with a positive attitude
- Hold a Full Class 1 Driver Licence (preferred)
- No previous electrical experience is required, although any trade, mechanical, or technical experience will be advantageous.

Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview, complete a basic Maths and English assessment, and take part in a practical hands-on activity. We're looking for potential, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn, not prior electrical experience
