Systems Support Specialist I

Luck Companies is looking for a customer service-oriented System Support Specialist with a positive attitude and aptitude to join our corporate office team. This role focuses on help desk, hardware, procurement, enablement and production support. You'll solve technical problems using documented procedures and checklists, configure and install hardware and software, and assist IT in the rollout and support of business technology initiatives.

What You'll Do
Configure, install, monitor and maintain users' desktop software and hardware, including
support of the mobile workforce
Set up user accounts, including user creation, rights and profile setup
Assist as directed in the installation and rollout of new and upgraded software packages and
new desktop hardware
Diagnose and resolve application, hardware and software problems using documented
procedures, and turn to specialized support associates as needed for more uncommon issues
Monitor network and computer systems and report the results to the appropriate IT associates
Document problems and resolutions using established procedures
Follow up with the user community to ensure issues have been resolved and ask for feedback
on how our support can be enhanced

What You Bring
Bachelor's degree
1 year of experience with Windows 2000, XP, Microsoft Office, and LAN/WAN
troubleshooting
Computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Schedule & Location
Fully onsite at our corporate office in Manakin Sabot, VA, Monday through Friday, 5:30 AM to
2:30 PM, with occasional on-call Saturdays.

Pay & Benefits
The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various
factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
